ABOUT THE TOUR The Harvest Homecoming Bicycle Tour is one of the most picturesque rides offered to cyclists in Southern Indiana/Metro Louisville (KY). The tour winds along the top of the knobs of Southern Indiana with views of fall colors accenting the Ohio River Valley. This is a leisurely tour for beginner, intermediate, and advanced cyclists. The routes vary from gently rolling to hilly. Once you've ridden this ride, you'll want to return every year! DOOR PRIZE DRAWING! Everyone who pre-registers will be eligible for our fantastic door prize drawing: a brand new Giant Escape Bicycle* provided by Clarksville Schwinn! T-SHIRTS (OPTIONAL) 35th Annual Commemorative T-shirts are optional; short sleeve $12 or long sleeve $18 (XXL sizes add $2). All T-shirt orders post-marked by September 22, 2012 will be guaranteed. Entrants received after September 24, 2012 will not be guaranteed a T-shirt. ENTRY FEE The pre-registration fee is just $20 per adult, and $10 for children 12 and under. The deadline for preregistration is September 22, 2012. Any entry postmarked after this deadline will be considered a late entry. Fees after this date are $30 for adults, $15 for children. SCHEDULE Packet pickup and late registration will begin at 7:30 a.m. and each distance group will mass start around 9:30 a.m. Routes, SAG stops, and lunch will remain open until 4:00 p.m. SAFETY FIRST! Cycling helmets are mandatory for all participants! The foremost concern of the Harvest Homecoming Bicycle Tour is the safety of all participants. Please obey all traffic laws and respect the rights of motorists and fellow cyclists. All cyclists under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. SOUVENIR PHOTOS Riders in this year's Tour will again be able to purchase optional souvenir photos through Timbike2. What a great way to remember your day in the beautiful hills of Southern Indiana!
From Interstate 64: Take I-64 West from New Albany/Louisville to the Greenville/Highway 150 Exit (Exit 119). At the bank, turn right on Navilleton Road, proceed to Louis Smith Road. The facility will be on your left. From Interstate 65: Take I-65 to the Salem Exit (Exit 7). Take Highway 60 West to Dow Knob Road (just past Deam Lake). Turn left on Dow Knob and follow signs to the Forest Discovery Center.
