Sandra Patterson
(April 14, 1936 -- January 21, 2022)

Sandra Patterson, a former SIW member, died in Durham, NC on January 21st. Joan Gilley remembers Sandra:

Sandra and her husband Twyman were early Southern Indiana Wheelmen snd original Slowpokes. Ed Hatfield, Peg Walton and I cycled with them in Wisconsin, Vermont and the Natchez Trace. They were also part of the 21 cyclists to do the Huff and Puff sponsored by our club where we rode and camped in 6 State Parks/reservoirs. They were also the ones who started the Polar Bear ride as we would ride from their home on Maple St in Jeff and then back for our pitch ins. Both were teachers and counselors in Greater Clark and Twyman was Jeff's football coach.
